MIAMI (April 12, 2016) – It was a busy but brilliant week for the singer and songwriter Ricardo Montaner. The creator of a long list of romantic classics performed four successful concerts in the Eastern U.S. cities of Orlando, Miami, New York and Boston. The shows were produced by NYK Productions.
His concert at Miami’s American Airlines Arena was a star-studded affair attended by the press, music-industry executives and of course his huge fan base. Social media lit up with positive commentary about his concert.
On Instagram, Daniel Sarcos, the Venezuelan co-host of the Telemundo morning show “Un Nuevo Día”, wrote: “Montaner did it again! Before a full house in Miami, my dear friend Ricardo guided us through his hits, he inspired us to show love to others, to our family, and to our country Venezuela…”
The digital newspaper “Los Reportes de Lichi” published a rave review: “Montaner knew how to delight, once again, an audience that gave itself over to his romantic melodies.”
For his New York concert, the influential Venezuelan newspaper “El Universal” was on hand and was very impressed: “Montaner confirmed yesterday in New York that ‘the best is yet to come.'”
“‘Lo Mejor Está por Venir’ (The Best is Yet to Come) was the first song of his set,” El Universal continued. “Perhaps it doesn’t just refer to his career, but also to the changes that are yearned for in the country where he grew up and began singing professionally.”
Ricardo Montaner’s US Tour filled venues and received rave reviews in Miami, New York, Orlando, and Boston; as Anaheim, Chicago, and McAllen are the next cities up for the Venezuelan singer-songwriter
Due to the overwhelming response to seeing him live, Montaner said: “People who have attended these shows receive puffs of nostalgia. It touches something that they brought with them when they left their homeland for whatever reason…they remember school friends, the scents and flavors of each country…”
“I see people crying and closing their eyes in order to be in solitude with their memories, which were formed with these songs as the soundtrack to their lives. After attending the #TourAgradecidoUSA, people want to return to their hometown, to pick up the phone and shout the ‘I love yous’ that they’ve been holding in.”
The #TourAgradecidoUSA has upcoming dates in Anaheim, CA (April 30); Chicago, IL (May 21); and McAllen, TX (May 22). The tour will then continue through December across Latin America.
