Austin, TX (March 21, 2016) The line was out the door this week at UMLE’s official showcase at SXSW, The Show at the Half-Step. Doors opened at 8 p.m., followed by a pumped-up set by Aftercluv Dancelab own and Corpus Christi’s native, electronic-cumbia DJ and producer, El Dusty at 9 p.m. which had everyone present dancing to his signature sound. As the place began to fill up, fans get the energy alive inspiring some to climb on stage to dance during MLKMN’s high-energy performance.

Chilean singer-songwriter, Mon Laferte followed at 11 p.m., with an emotionally stunning set leaving the crowd hypnotized and wanting for more chanting “otra, otra” when she finally started wrapping up her sultry performance to make room for Los Rakas. Changing the pace of the showcase, the duo dominated the space with their hard, urban sound, making the crowd dance with their hands high up in the air. 3BallMTY wrapped up the evening at around 1 a.m. with a cumbia-influenced EDM set built to keep the place “popping” until closing time.
