The Spanish singer-songwriter Natalia Jiménez has more surprises up her sleeve from her latest album Creo En Mí (I Believe in Me). Her latest confection is a remix of the album’s third U.S. single, “Algo Brilla En Mi” (Something Shines Within Me), in which Colombian urban star Maluma joins the fun.

“It’s a song that puts a smile on every listener’s face. I love it and it’s one of my favorite songs from the album,” Natalia Jiménez observes.

The two artists first met during her tenure as a coach during the latest season of La Voz Kids (The Voice) when she invited Maluma to help out her team as a mentor.

The album’s first two singles, title track “Creo En Mí” and “Quédate Con Ella” (Stay With Her) have achieved critical and commercial success in the United States and Mexico.

Production of the “Algo Brilla En Mi” remix was handled by Motiff, the multitalented musician who also produced the album. This mix features reggaeton-influenced beats and gives a fresh take to this energetic song. It fits in perfectly with this album’s fusion of styles, which range from Latin pop to Anglo-American style ballads, and even include EDM and rancheras.
