A concert of this size represents one of the biggest accomplishments in this young artist’s career. Accompanied by a 10-piece band, lights and a unique set design, the Spanish-born Natalia spent over two hours giving the Puerto Rican fans a great show.
The concert was part of her “Creo En Mi” tour, which is also the name of her most recent album. Natalia knew that she had a huge following in Puerto Rico and said, “This island has shown once again how much you love me. I promise to return very soon to enjoy this marvelous public whom I adore so much.”
On top of her solo works, Natalia also performed songs from her time in La 5a Estacion, like “El Sol No Regresa”. On top of that, she also performed covers of of “Música Ligera” by Soda Stereo, “Amor Eterno” by Rocío Durcal and “Si Quieres” by Juan Gabriel. But, by far the best moment of the concert was when Puerto Rican, Yanelis Rivera, a finalist on the second season of La Voz Kids, who joined her idol for a one-of-a-kind duet of “Algo Más”, a hit from La 5a Estacion.
Produced by Paco López and led by the creative director and producer Daniel Trueba, this concert was streamed to over 40 countries via Natalia Jiménez’s website. Trueba also collaborated with the director Carlos Pérez, who created several of the videos that were incorporated into the concert, including the official music video of the song “Creo En Mi.”
The album, “Creo En Mi” has earned her an ASCAP Award, as well as Premios Billboard for Hot Latin Songs Artist of the Year. It’s looking that 2015 is gonna be the year for Natalia Jimenez.
